Recently, a friend of mine called me. She was panicking about her getting old. She was asking me how to remain young, and how to stop the aging process? She was so much concerned about the aging factor that she ended up spending a hefty sum on some beauty products and she did not stop at this… she has also made plans to have some “beauty injections”.

After her call I thought - If there is a beauty wish granted by God, everyone would choose eternal youth for oneself.

In today’s HD era people are very conscious about their beauty, their personality, their image, and their looks. Nobody wants to look age-appropriate. Markets are flooded with the products that ensure anti-aging, that’s why anti-aging has become a sure shot formula to increase the sales.

But looking young and feeling young are two distinct things. Life becomes amazing when you learn the art of caring yourself, loving yourself, and your lifestyle i.e. to say what you eat, what you follow, reflect how much you love yourself, how much you care for yourself. “Tweet this”.

The predominant question is whether it is possible to keep the aging at the bay? How to get rid of it? You have to learn the art of caring for yourself, loving yourself. Your lifestyle, i.e. to say what you eat, what you follow, reflects how much you love yourself, how much you care for yourself, and of saggy skin and wrinkles. How to look young and remain young? How to maintain a natural glow?

How do we know the aging signs?

So the most common aging signs include sagging of skin, having rhytids or wrinkles, and sometimes photo-aging redness of skin starts, depigmentation of skin starts. In some cases, solar elastosis (yellowing), and poor texture of skin is also seen.

With these aging signs some questions come in our mind that can we reverse aging? Can we stop aging? Let's see-

How can we delay or postpone it?

Scientists and researchers express that we can't stop the aging process, but manage or control it and absolve your worries and all stress about your youthfulness.

New Age technology for anti-aging

There are some skin treatments using advanced technology and some new techniques that are being used by most of the people including youth also.

Stem cell therapies, immune building therapy, Gene therapy these kinds of advanced medical techniques are available to slow down the anti-aging process, but all these therapies require periodic visits to doctors for repairing molecular and cellular damage associated with aging. Advanced technology-based treatments are very costly and require regular treatment from the expert doctors.

How one can follow preventive methods to live and look young-

Anti-aging is the key to live longer, to live young, and to live healthier. The newly launched products do not have a long-lasting effect. Even there are cases reported that how some beauty products backfires.

So going a little safe people now are picking up anti-aging supplements, a dose of antioxidants, drinking red wine, multivitamins and minerals capsules, etc.

But you cannot take all these in the long run. For maintaining an arm’s length distance with an aging process with no side effects, you should go by natural means you should include some natural immune booster, beauty.

Lactic acid

Lactic acid has an amazing ability to hold moisture of your skin and refine wrinkles. It improves skin texture, firmness, thickness, and elasticity of skin resulting in reduced sign of aging. Yogurt is the best source of it.

Green Tea

The anti-aging benefits of green tea are gaining much popularity. These benefits in green tea are because of the presence of polyphenols, a flavonoid present in plants. Studies have shown that green tea can reduce sun damage, protect skin from cancer and decrease collagen breakdown. Matcha, the much in fashion these days, is a green tea high in antioxidants and amino acids like L-theanine, which increases serotonin, dopamine, and GABA.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has properties of the production of collagen. The coconut oil is used as a potent moisturizer.

Carrot seeds & it’s oil

Carrot seeds contain anti-aging properties and its carrot seed oil contains top levels of the antioxidant carotenoid. This antioxidant reverses skin damage, detoxes and hydrates the skin, carrot seed oil contains bioflavonoids, which is helpful for their antimicrobial and free radical scavenging activities.

Lycopene-

Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant with many health benefits, including sun protection. Though it can be easily found in the market as a supplement, it is most effective when consumed from lycopene-rich foods like tomatoes and other red or pink fruits.

Green leafy vegetables

Green leafy vegetables should be our routine dietary, intake of green vegetables was shown to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines and lower the risk of skin cancer. Green leafy vegetables are packed with tocopherols Vitamin E and phytonutrient, which play a significant role in preventing the signs of aging and sun damage and help maintain overall skin health.

Salmon

Salmon are the rich sources of omega-3 and so great for the skin. It is one superfood for skin health. It also contains vitamin D, which can have photoprotective effects, which means it protects the skin against the negative effects of UV rays. Vitamin D is also good for skin cell growth and repair. Omega-3 fatty acid also retains moisture in your skin, which helps with maintaining the skin’s firmness and keeps skin looking supple. If you are a vegetarian than consider a high-quality fish oil supplement of 2,000 mg per day and Vitamin D3 2000 IU/per day should be taken for good results.

Dark Chocolate

Chocolates are no longer a guilty pleasure. Research shows that due to its antioxidant content, a little dark chocolate keeps arteries functioning better, and also lowers unhealthy LDL cholesterol and blood pressure. It helps improve blood flow to the skin and the brain. You can look some years young by satisfying your sweet tooth. So have your treat.

Egg White

Use of Egg white is a natural resource and very helpful in tightening the skin. It provides collagen and protein to the skin and supple it very well. So next time feed some egg white to your skin too.

Olive oil

To maintain the elasticity of the skin, regular massage with olive oil is very helpful, and it keeps the fine lines at a distance.

Apart from the above superfoods, you should also include maximum use of Lemon, Broccoli, Avocado, Banana, and pomegranate, Blueberries, Ginger, and Garlic in your food.

Ceramides

Ceramides are the lipids and act as a barrier to seal moisture into the skin. Ceramides have basically no drawbacks, they’re an effective ingredient for any skin type. Excellent source of Ceramides are foods like soybeans, dairy, eggs, sweet potatoes, wheat germ, corn, and brown rice.

Collagen

As we age, our natural collagen production slows down and affects our skin health badly. All kinds of external factors mainly sun exposure contribute to the breakdown of collagen. Collagen is one of the most important proteins in your skin and provides good health of the skin by keeping it firm. Studies revealed that a small dose of collagen hydrolysate, approximately 2.5 to 5 grams per day when given to women aged thirty-five to fifty, improves skin elasticity in a few weeks.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid moisturizes the skin and also helps to plump up your skin and fill in fine lines. It has a great property to hold up to a thousand times its own weight in water, an anti-aging ingredient to work most effectively. You can apply a cream having hyaluronic Acid. “Tweet this”

Jojoba oil is rich in vitamin E, which means it may have some antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, too. It won’t clog pores, moisturize the skin, and also has a soothing property to heal dry, irritated skin. You can use this oil to massage your skin.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a great antioxidant, helping to neutralize the skin-damaging free radicals caused by sun exposure and pollution. It also interferes with the production of excess pigment in the skin, helping to fade spots and discoloration. Suggestive dose of 1000mg per day is required for maintaining good health of the skin. Today vitamin C creams, Lotions, and serums are very popular and easily available in the market.

10 Wonderful tips for your youthful glow-

Although age is just a number, but everybody wants to be good with these numbers. You can’t stop aging but help slow down your anti-aging process.

1. Keep yourself hydrated.

2. Apply good sunscreen that is broad-spectrum, SPF 30 (or higher), and water-resistant.

3. Tanning usually age your skin, so by applying proper masks regularly remove tanning.

4. Keep away yourself from alcohol and smoking. It causes wrinkles and a dull, sallow complexion.

5. Don’t put stress on your facial muscles; it enhances fine lines on your face.

6. Take a healthy and well-balanced diet. Eating plenty of salads, fresh green vegetables, and fruits may help prevent the aging process of the skin.

7. Follow a daily workout regime.

8. Clean your skin gently twice a day.

9. Apply suitable moisturizer and recommended night cream.

10. Last but most important, be cheerful.

Conclusion

Yearning for a youthful look is not a bad thought. It is very normal to desire for an age barred look. But in this desire of looking beautiful, you should not forget that living young and beautiful is more important than looking the same. Be young naturally and include beauty and youth in natural ways. You should be focused on trying and optimize your natural longevity.

Though science is developing new medicine for anti-aging and researches are going on to get knowledge about more on repairing of Mitochondria, and restoration of aged stem cells, this will definitely help medical science to do far batter.
