My jaw dropped in surprise oh, it was John I just spelled y… o… u?…

The clock struck 8. Heading out of the office; I saw it was dark outside. I was late today; it was not the first time. It always happens. I rushed to catch the train.

As I tried to enter, suddenly train started, and I lost my balance and was about to slip on the track, it horrified me.

Suddenly a warm, brawny arm encircled me and pushed me into the compartment.

I just turned my head to say thanks to that iron man.

My jaw dropped in surprise oh, it was John I just spelled y… o… u?

He rebuked me for how careless you are? Could you imagine what would have happened? He hardly controlled himself, his eyes turned furious…..?

I felt a cold shiver down my spine. I just froze but felt water droplets on my forehead.

I saw his soul through his deep, black eyes. I sensed the same innocent John as he was before 4 years when I first met him in my college. It was a bitter phase of life when we parted our ways. Still don’t know the exact reason what went wrong between us…

As the train was speeding forward on the curve, I was turning back to my life when life threw me a curveball.

I regained my footing, started working, but always missed John in my life. I gave a look at him. He seemed pale, messy, and disturbed.

There was an enormous rush in the local. One man pushed me. As I felt insecure, John immediately encircled me with his muscular arms and I took a sigh of relief and felt secured after a long time.

Now we became very close and easily felt each other’s breath and something more than that.

I didn’t know how swiftly 4, 5 stations crossed. Now my station was about to come.

He made my way over, and I got down from the train. I astonished to see that he is following me.

We both were moving quietly, but our hearts were talking, complaining with each other’s.

I unlock the house, and before I could enter he asked me may I have some tea with you.

I softly answered oh sure.

He was looking at everything curiously in my room. In, a mild tone he said you still the same person as before.,

I prepared tea and served him with some snacks.

I asked him how you are. Simultaneously, he too asked me the same question.

What brought you here? I asked him.

I was searching for you for the last one month. I went to your office, but by that time you had already left the office.

We crossed at the station but met on the train; he said.

Yap.

He was feeling relaxed. He just held my hand… what went wrong with our life? Why were we thrown apart Mili?

I came here to say that we both passed through pain and faced hardship in our lives individually.

I saw John was very serious and speaking from his heart. He continued that every relationship goes through ups and downs but we both took no single step to build our relationship strong. We became fearful of conflict. We never expressed our self and just parted, but stayed in love. You know today I felt the fire in our love. Let us set ablaze all our fighting’s, all misunderstandings in that fire, and give a fresh kick to our life.

Are you ready, Mili?

My eyes shined with the new hope. John stood from his place and embraced me.

Night was astral. Now we both were waiting for the morning sun.
