People today are very well aware of their health and well-being. With the constant pressure to perform better they are always ready to roll to cope up with this constraint, and upgrade their performance. Researches proved that meditation is the essence of performance, helps in keeping a cool, calm, and stress-free attitude.

Nowadays everyone is so occupied with their work that they unknowingly are leading a stressful life. Almost in every field there is stiff competition matching up with which is taking a toll on their physical and mental health which in turn is affecting their performance level. For example- people are. not able to concentrate properly, they are not able to finish their work in a timely manner, they are not able to provide satisfactory results. People are aware of the connection between a healthy mind and a good performance level and they are ready to do everything which will boost their performance. People do involve themselves in different kinds of exercise, Aerobics, dancing, swimming. But all of these activities are not giving an adequate outcome. So what people should do to get through all of this? How they can get the best out of them, How they can perform well? To all these questions meditation is the answer.

What is Meditation?

Meditation is a means of transforming the mind. Meditation practices are the techniques that encourage and develop concentration, clarity, emotional positivity, and a calm seeing of the true nature of things. With constant and devoted practices the focused states of mind can deepen into profoundly peaceful and energized states of mind. It gives a new experience and can have a transformative effect and can lead to a new understanding of life.

The concentration level of the participants was also high which, in turn, increases their productivity and efficiency. Meditation enhances the focus and eliminate distractions, which multiplies the efficiency of a person. People can have good sleep and better control over distress.

It has also been proved by the studies that those performing mindfulness meditation training had significantly improved working memory and retention power. Meditation magnifies retention power, creativity, and awareness of your unconscious mind.

Multitasking can be a brain booster but it is not good always, because you have to change gear very often and this can be risky for your brain, sometimes it causes distraction. But if you are doing meditation then the side effects of multitasking will be less.

Meditation increases awareness of your unconscious mind-

A study by the researchers reveals that people use their mind consciously and also aware of their unconscious mind. Mindfulness meditation helps in developing creativity.

Meditation means no action or state of being nonreactive and monitoring the content of experience from moment-to-moment, this renders a positive impact on creativity and divergent thinking. Participants who had followed the practice of meditation performed better in a task and also on their work front.

They have a loving attitude towards others and have maintained positive relations with others.
